THE SKATEPARK COMMITTEE

This initiative is taken on behalf of the Sale skate park committee whose members range in age across late secondary school, TAFE and early employment and are a sub-committee of the Streets of Harmony Youth Committee in Sale. The boys have kept on going since 2002 (three years) despite many frustrations and obstacles, so it is clear that their cause is genuine. From time to time their moral has dropped into the pits but they’ve kept trying; I know, I’ve been their adult support foremost of this time and have come to appreciate the potential our youth have if we support them and have faith in them.
